Oak Cliff

Originally the independent town of Oak Cliff, this Southwestern Dallas community was founded in the 1880s and eventually annexed by Dallas in 1903.  Home to such neighborhoods as the Bishop Arts District, Kessler Park and Winnetka Heights, Oak Cliff is one of Dallas’s oldest parts of town with many historic homes, shopping and dining options.  With its close proximity to Downtown, a mere eight miles, its variously sized and uniquely built historic homes, as well as the quaint neighborhood feel, Oak Cliff is a perfect option for young professionals, families, and adults of all ages.
